They wrapped their arms and hearts around me and helped me find a new inner-self where strength, courage and commitment helped me rebuild my life. Truly a life changing experience that dragged me out of a treatment resistant, decade- long, struggle with drugs and alcohol and physical and mental abuse. I had struggled with cocaine use, for thirteen years. My body had began to reject the experience and my organs were screaming for help, from my interior. I ignored their cries for help and ended up being admitted to the hospital, for chest pains, related to cocaine usage. The night of my release, I decided to purchase cocaine, and use. I realized that there was a part of me outside my conscious mind that was plotting to continue in this cycle despite the evident destruction that was brought forward. I chose to call, for help.
